Description

#WinAtSocial Program is a digital citizenship and social-emotional learning programme used by schools to teach students, educators, and families how to navigate social media, technology, and online interactions.

Developed by The Social Institute, the programme delivers weekly lessons that address topics such as artificial intelligence, smartphone use, mental health, peer pressure, and online safety. Lessons are designed for students from Year 4 through Year 12 and are aligned with social-emotional learning competencies and health education standards.

The platform provides interactive scenarios, video content, and discussion prompts that teachers can incorporate into existing tutor time, advisory periods, or wellbeing sessions without requiring specialist training. Alongside the student curriculum, the programme includes resources for educators and parents, such as professional development materials, family newsletters, and guidance for handling trending topics that affect young people.

Schools and districts subscribe to the platform to support pastoral care, behaviour education, and digital literacy initiatives. The Social Institute also produces data and research on student technology habits, which subscribing institutions can use to inform their own wellbeing and online safety strategies.
