Description
Wordela is an online vocabulary learning platform used for building word knowledge through adaptive exercises, quizzes, and personalised word lists for students across primary, secondary, and higher education settings.
The platform provides a library of curated word lists organised by subject, year group, and reading level, alongside tools that allow teachers to create custom lists tailored to specific lessons, texts, or examination syllabuses. Learners practise vocabulary through a range of interactive activities, including definition matching, sentence completion, spelling exercises, and contextual usage tasks.
The system tracks individual progress, identifies words that require further practice, and adjusts the difficulty and repetition of items based on learner performance. Teachers and school administrators can assign word lists to classes, monitor pupil engagement, and view reports on completion rates and assessment scores.
