Zearn Math

Developed by Zearn, a nonprofit educational organisation founded in 2012 by Shalinee Sharma, the platform provides a structured curriculum covering kindergarten through eighth grade mathematics. The service is rated ESSA Tier 1 and is designed to reinforce teacher-led instruction with digital lessons that include video instruction, interactive problem-solving activities, and independent practice.

Lessons follow a consistent structure that progresses from concrete to pictorial to abstract representations of mathematical concepts. The platform includes teacher tools for monitoring student progress, identifying areas where pupils require additional support, and adapting instruction based on real-time data.

Teachers can access lesson plans, instructional materials, and reporting dashboards that track individual and class-wide performance. Students work through digital lessons at their own pace, with the system providing immediate feedback and adaptive scaffolding.

Zearn Math is used in primary and middle schools across the United States and is available free of charge to teachers and schools, with paid school and district accounts offering additional administrative features and professional development resources.
